2017 SERVICE CHANGES

Starting April 10, 2017

Due to changing trends in our ridership we find ourselves needing to revise some of our transportation services:

US 31 Zip Line  –   We will do a limited number of deviations off route up to ½ a mile. Our Dial a ride service will do deviations between ½ -1 mile.   Any deviation request must be scheduled by calling 317-738-5523 with at least a 24 hour notice and will cost $2 each way.  If you have a disability and do not feel you can get to a bus stop then please call and apply to become an ADA paratransit rider.

SOUTHbound:  Bus stop added ‘new’ Franklin Meijers (opening day May 4)

Franklin Zip Connect   REMINDER:  Any deviation request must be scheduled by calling 317-738-5523 with at least a 24 hour notice.  If you have a disability and do not feel you can get to a bus stop then please call and apply to become an ADA paratransit rider.

WEST Route:   Bus stop changed at Northwood Plaza will be between the Adult and Child and the Dollar General, an additional bus stop will be added at the United Way Center.

EAST Route– Additional bus stop at  Kroger / Kohls.

Greenwood Zip Connect   REMINDER:   Any deviation request must be scheduled by calling 317-738-5523 with at least a 24 hour notice.  If you have a disability and do not feel you can get to a bus stop then please call and apply to become an ADA paratransit rider.

West Route:  No changes

EAST Route:  Adding bus stop at Indiana Internal Medicine 701 County Line Road.  Changing all the route times approximately 5- 10 minutes earlier than before.

ADA Paratransit Certification Process  Anyone who needs a deviation or special accommodations and is not able to ride the fixed routes will need to apply for ADA Paratransit Certification.  The Americans with Disability Act, requires that we have a certification process to ensure people with disabilities are not discriminated against and have the same opportunity that the general public have accessing public transit.

Office hours will change to 9:00 am to 4:00pm.  Phones will be turned off from 12:00 – 12:30 calls received before noon will be submitted for the next day.

If you have any concerns or comments please feel free to contact Becky Allen at Access Johnson County Public Transit by email beckyallen2@gmail.com or by phone 738-5500 ext 226.
